Let the present age of father be a
Present age of Rajeev= a/6
According to first condition,
( a + 10) = 2 ( Kamal's present age + 10)
=> (a + 10) /2 - 10 = Kamal's present age
=> Kamal's present age = ( a + 10 - 20) / 2
=> Kamal's present age = ( a - 10) /2
Now,
According to second condition,
( a - 10)/2 - 2 = 8
=> ( a - 10 - 4) / 2 = 8
=> a - 14 = 16
=> a = 30
Rajeev's present age = 30 /6 = 5 years
